Solar Powered Watches

These watches are powered by the sun! Or at least light. A compact solar cell is tucked behind the dial and feeds a rechargeable battery that the watch industry calls a “capacitor”. With proper charging, these capacitors should last about 20 years.

Please remember that these need light! Do not store in a dark place (drawer, box, closet) for long periods of time. For best operations, make sure they get a couple hours of light every day.
